The Sautöter Basse is suitable for intercepting large game as well as for the toughest tasks in the woods and fields, thanks to its robust full-tang construction. The 3.6 mm thick blade is double-edged (18°/23°) and features a hollow grind on both sides. It is made of stainless 440C steel and has a hardness of 57-58 HRC. For better cutting performance, the blade is slightly curved on both sides. A pronounced guard element ensures the necessary safety. The signal orange handle made of G10 makes the knife easy to locate at any time and is equipped with a lanyard hole. It is secured with two solid rivets. The fiberglass-reinforced plastic G10 is particularly robust and very easy to clean. Included in the delivery is a sturdy leather belt sheath with double strap security. Der Sautöter Basse eignet sich dank der robusten Full-Tang-Bauweise einerseits zum Abfangen von starkem Wild als auch für die härtesten Einsätze in Wald und Flur. Die 3,6 mm starke Klinge ist beidseitig geschliffen (18°/23°) und beidseitig mit einer Hohlkehle ausgestattet. Sie ist aus rostfreiem 440C-Edelstahl gefertigt und besitzt eine Härte von 57-58 HRC. Für ein besseres Schneiden ist die Klinge auf beiden Seiten leicht bauchig gehalten. Für die nötige Sicherheit sorgt ein ausladendes Parierelement. Das signalorangene Griffstück aus G10 lässt das Messer jederzeit leicht wieder auffinden und ist mit einer Fangriemenöse ausgestattet. Gesichert wird es mit zwei festen Nieten. Der glasfaserverstärkte Kunststoff G10 ist besonders robust und sehr leicht zu reinigen. Im Lieferumfang enthalten ist eine robuste Gürtelscheide aus Leder mit doppelter Riemen-Sicherung.
