The Härkila Heat Long Sleeve Shirt is made of 80% nylon and 20% spandex and is quick-drying, durable, and flexible. Thanks to its modern fit, it sits relatively snugly against the body. Integrated heat membranes are located in the areas of the upper body that are particularly sensitive to cold – in the chest area, between the shoulder blades, and in the lumbar region. The membranes can be adjusted via the button on the chest to 35, 43, or 50 °C. Unlike older heating technologies, the heat membranes are flexible enough that the clothing can still be easily folded. Additionally, the T-shirt can be safely washed in the washing machine. In the pocket on the right side, there is a long textile cable with a waterproof USB stick, allowing a power bank to be connected if desired or needed (the power bank can, for example, be stored in the pocket). When the cable is not needed, it can simply be stored in the pocket. With a 10,000 mAh power bank, the T-shirt reaches the highest temperature of 50 °C for about 7 hours at outside temperatures of 0 °C. To save power, the heat membranes automatically switch to standby mode when the T-shirt has reached the desired temperature. They then turn back on by themselves if the temperature falls 1-2 degrees below the desired level, without you noticing. The T-shirt thus has a temperature-regulating function: it automatically turns off when the body produces a lot of heat, for example, during high activity, and turns back on when you are standing still or sitting. The shirt can be stored in the included waterproof dry bag. Das Härkila Heat Langarmshirt besteht aus 80 % Nylon und 20 % Spandex und ist schnelltrocknend, strapazierfähig und flexibel. Dank der modernen Passform liegt es verhältnismäßig eng am Körper an. An den Stellen des Oberkörpers, die besonders kälteempfindlich sind – im Brustbereich, zwischen den Schulterblättern und im Lendenbereich – befinden sich integrierte Wärmemembranen. Die Membranen lassen sich über den Druckknopf an der Brust auf 35, 43 oder 50 °C einstellen. Im Gegensatz zu älteren Wärmetechnologien sind die Wärmemembranen so flexibel, dass sich die Kleidung dennoch mühelos zusammenfalten lässt. Außerdem kann das T-Shirt ohne Bedenken in der Waschmaschine gewaschen werden. In der Tasche auf der rechten Seite befindet sich ein langes Textilkabel mit wasserdichtem USB-Stick, sodass auf Wunsch oder bei Bedarf eine Powerbank angeschlossen werden kann (die Powerbank wiederum kann z. B. in der Hosentasche aufbewahrt werden). Wenn das Kabel nicht benötigt wird, kann es einfach in der Tasche aufbewahrt werden. Mit einer Powerbank mit 10.000 mAh erreicht das T-Shirt rund 7 Stunden lang die höchste Temperatur von 50 °C bei Außentemperaturen von 0 °C. Um Strom zu sparen, wechseln die Wärmemembranen automatisch in den Ruhemodus, wenn das T-Shirt die gewünschte Temperatur erreicht hat. Anschließend schalten sie sich von selbst wieder ein, falls die Temperatur 1-2 Grad unter das gewünschte Niveau fällt, ohne dass man dies merkt. Das T-Shirt hat also eine wärmeregulierende Funktion: Sie schaltet sich automatisch ab, wenn der Körper bspw. bei hoher Aktivität viel Wärme produziert, und schaltet sich wieder ein, wenn man stillsteht oder -sitzt. Das Shirt kann im mitgelieferten wasserdichten Drybag verstaut werden.
