In collaboration with Norma, Blaser has developed a completely new generation of high-performance cartridges. No existing calibers were copied; instead, all current findings from ammunition technology were processed to achieve the optimum in each caliber segment. Their high precision, combined with increased energy and velocity values, makes the Blaser Magnum calibers the ideal choice for long shooting distances – in mountain hunting as well as in the savanna or on the high plains. The significantly reduced recoil behavior compared to other Magnum cartridges is due to the Blaser Magnum's innovative case geometry, state-of-the-art powder types, and the 4-groove barrel profile with adapted twist lengths.
