Description

The frames of the older S&W revolvers do not have the necessary drillings in the frame bridge for mounting an LPA sight. These older weapons correspond to the model series: -0, -1, -2, -3, and -4 (e.g., 686-3 > you can find the model series number of your revolver when swinging out the cylinder, in the frame behind the cylinder crane (under the barrel cone) under the serial number (see image) e.g., BSS3571 686-3 (-3 is the model series here!) The required 2 drillings along with threads will be made into the frame bridge. For this, the removal of the barrel is essential! (Price includes barrel removal and reinstallation) We recommend that since the barrel must be removed, you also have the barrel cone reworked at the same time!! The barrel cone is only "very mediocre" on 95% of all S&W revolvers, which inevitably affects precision negatively! (Show description in original language)
