The History Knife & Tool Commando Dagger black is a realization of the famous Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife. This is considered the mother of all modern combat knives. The knife was first used by Allied commandos such as the SOE, SAS, and OSS. During World War II, it was increasingly issued to regular troops and subsequently adopted by special forces of various nations. Today, it is a symbolic part of the insignia of numerous airborne and special operations units. In accordance with the historical model, this dagger features a narrow double-edged medium-point blade, an oval and straight crossguard, the characteristic ribbed spindle grip made of aluminum with a full tang, and the complete blackening of all parts of the knife. Der History Knife & Tool Dolch Commando Dagger schwarz ist eine Realisation des berühmten Fairbairn-Sykes Fighting Knife. Dieses gilt als Mutter aller modernen Kampfmesser. Das Messer wurde zuerst von alliierten Kommandos wie dem SOE, dem SAS und dem OSS eingesetzt. Im Verlauf des 2. Weltkrieges wurde es zunehmend auch an reguläre Truppenteile ausgegeben und in der Folge von Spezialeinheiten der unterschiedlichsten Nationen übernommen. Heute ist es symbolischer Bestandteil der Abzeichen zahlreicher Luftlande- und Spezialkampfverbände. Dem historischen Vorbild entsprechend verfügt dieser Dolch über eine schmale zweischneidige mittelspitze Klinge, eine ovale und dabei gerade Parierstange, den charakteristischen geriffelten Spindelgriff aus Aluminium mit durchgehender Angel und die vollständige Schwärzung aller Teile des Messers.
