The ZEISS DTC-R M52 adapter ring for DTC 3 is the connection piece between the DTC adapter and the DTC 3 thermal imaging attachment. The DTC ring is equipped with an M52 screw thread on the attachment side. On the adapter side, there is a bayonet lock. The screw thread ensures a secure and stable mounting, while the bayonet lock creates a quick and load-bearing connection between the adapter and the DTC 3 through a twist-and-insert motion. Once the combination of the DTC 3 attachment, DTC ring, DTC adapter, and riflescope is zeroed, the attachment can be removed without hesitation, for example, for transport. Thanks to the bayonet lock, the point of impact does not change, provided the position of the DTC adapter on the riflescope side is not altered.

Der ZEISS DTC-R M52 Adapterring für DTC 3 ist das Verbindungsstück zwischen dem DTC-Adapter und dem DTC 3 Wärmebildvorsatzgerät. Der DTC-Ring ist vorsatzgerätseitig mit einem M52 Schraubgewinde ausgestattet. Adapterseitig befindet sich ein Bajonettverschluss. Das Schraubgewinde gewährleistet eine sichere und stabile Montage, während der Bajonettverschluss durch eine Dreh-Steck-Bewegung eine schnelle und belastungsfähige Verbindung zwischen Adapter und DTC 3 herstellt. Ist die Kombination aus DTC 3 Vorsatzgerät, DTC-Ring, DTC-Adapter und Zielfernrohr eingeschossen, kann das Vorsatzgerät bedenkenlos z.B. für den Transport abgenommen werden. Dank des Bajonettverschlusses verändert sich die Trefferpunktlage nicht, sofern die Position des zielfernrohrseitigen DTC-Adapters nicht verändert wird.
