The Wild Warning Reflector Blue acts as an optical fence against incoming wildlife. The reflector is equipped with a microprismatic reflective film, as used on reflective traffic signs. The light hitting the film from the vehicle is reflected back at an angle of 1.5° along the roadside, creating a continuous light barrier, as required by the "Chamer Model." The uniform curvature of the carrier material also reflects the light at decreasing intensity further to the side, without illuminating the surrounding area, and is adapted to the vision of wildlife.

Der Wildwarnreflektor Blau wirkt als optischer Zaun gegen ankommendes Wild. Der Reflektor ist mit einer mikroprismatischen Reflexfolie ausgestattet, wie sie auf reflektierenden Verkehrszeichen genutzt wird. Das vom Fahrzeug auf die Folie treffende Licht wird in einem Abstrahlwinkel von 1,5° längs des Straßenrandes zurückgeworfen, wodurch ein durchgehender Lichtzaun entsteht, wie es der Forderung des „Chamer Modells“ entspricht. Die gleichmäßige Rundung des Trägermaterials reflektiert das Licht auch in abnehmender Intensität weiter zur Seite, ohne den umliegenden Bereich auszuleuchten und ist an das Sehvermögen von Wildtieren angepasst.
