Hardly any other CO2 weapon has managed to remain present since the beginning of the CO2 hype in the 1990s until today. The legendary and indispensable CP88 in the long Competition version and nickel-plated. A true piece of history. With the Walther CP88, not only did a high-quality and authentic replica of the Walther P88 enter the Umarex range many decades ago, but it is also the first CO₂ pistol in the company that fired diabolo pellets from a rifled barrel, setting a milestone in the company's history. High-end precision, remarkable performance, and uncompromising reliability have been pioneering since the first model, also for today's current generation of Made in Germany air guns, convincing both sport and recreational shooters, as well as collectors, then as now.
An 8-shot rotary magazine sits in the locking system and is propelled by a 12g CO2 capsule with over 5 Joules from the rifled barrel. This guarantees the CP88 Competition a clean and more precise feeding of the diabolo pellets into the rifled barrel. The Competition barrel extracts the last precision reserves from the Walther CP88. It guides the diabolo 143 mm instead of 90 mm.

The fully functional air pistol has fired less than 20 shots so far; I wanted to use it indoors, but it is too loud for that. All accessories were purchased together with the weapon, including the short barrel in 4.5 mm, which unfortunately was a wrong purchase for me, as I no longer have a garden.

Die voll funktionsfähige Luftpistole hat bisher keine 20 Schuss abgegeben, ich wollte sie in der Wohnung nutzen, mir ist sie dafür zu laut. Das ganze Zubehör wurde zusammen mit der Waffe gekauft, wie der kurze Lauf in 4,5 mm, für mich leider ein Fehlkauf, leider kein Garten mehr vorhanden.
