Description of the projectiles from the Fox website:
"The Fox Classic Hunter ammunition is equipped with Fox Classic projectiles. These projectiles have been developed to meet the demands of various hunting situations in the European hunting area. They are suitable for both short distances, such as during driven hunts for wild boars, as well as for hunting chamois in the high mountains over long distances.
The projectiles are made from a lead-free copper-zinc alloy and provide sufficient expansion even at low impact velocities of 500 m/s. The grooves on the projectile reduce the contact area between the projectile and the barrel profile, thereby decreasing friction and increasing speed. The degree of deformation is determined by the depth of the hollow point, which is made of heat-resistant plastic.
This positively influences both the external ballistics and the efficiency. Upon impact, the projectile expands to twice its caliber diameter. The rapid and controlled expansion allows for effective energy transfer from the projectile to the game. All these factors lead to exceptional stopping power while keeping the game meat undamaged."

Beschreibung der Geschosse von der Fox Website:
"Die Fox Classic Hunter Munition ist mit Fox Classic Geschossen ausgestattet. Diese Geschosse wurden entwickelt, um den Anforderungen verschiedener Jagdsituationen im europäischen Jagdgebiet gerecht zu werden. Sie eignen sich sowohl für kurze Distanzen, beispielsweise bei der Treibjagd auf Wildschweine, als auch für die Jagd auf Gamswild in den hohen Gebirgen über große Entfernungen.
Die Geschosse bestehen aus einer bleifreien Kupfer-Zink-Legierung und bieten auch bei niedrigen Aufprallgeschwindigkeiten von 500 m/s eine ausreichende Aufpilzung. Die Rillen auf dem Geschoss reduzieren die Kontaktfläche zwischen Geschoss und Laufprofil, wodurch die Reibung verringert und die Geschwindigkeit erhöht wird. Der Grad der Verformung wird durch die Tiefe der Hohlspitze bestimmt, die aus hitzebeständigem Kunststoff besteht.
Dadurch werden sowohl die äußere Ballistik als auch die Effizienz positiv beeinflusst. Beim Aufprall pilzt das Geschoss auf das Doppelte seines Kaliberdurchmessers auf. Die schnelle und kontrollierte Expansion ermöglicht eine effektive Übertragung der Energie vom Geschoss auf das Wild. All diese Faktoren führen zu einer außergewöhnlichen Stoppleistung, während das Wildbret unbeschädigt bleibt."
