The Viper thermal imaging attachment can be used either as an attachment or easily as a monocular (thermal imaging handheld device for observation). At an affordable price, it offers a compact design and an extremely low weight of around 260g. This model allows for clear visibility in all weather conditions, even in fog and rain or complete darkness. The thermal imaging attachment is equipped with a particularly small pixel interval of 12 μm, resulting in a more harmonious image than previous 17µm detectors. Additionally, the housing is protected against water ingress according to IP66. It is also made of particularly durable magnesium.
This compact thermal imaging attachment is particularly suitable for hunting at shorter distances. The Viper 50 Next largely corresponds to the sister model TIR-M35 AC with a 35mm lens. However, the Viper 50 Next has been equipped with a large 50mm lens, which significantly enhances the system performance of the device. Thus, the Viper 50 is also recommended at greater distances, up to about 160m. Especially for stalking, the Viper is likely to be of interest to hunters – with a weight of only around 295g, it is significantly lighter than many other devices (often around 450g).

Das Viper Wärmebildvorsatzgerät kann entweder als Vorsatzgerät oder problemlos als Monokular (Wärmebild-Handgerät zum Beobachten) eingesetzt werden. Zu einem günstigen Preis bietet es eine kompakte Bauform und äußerst geringes Gewicht von rund 260g. Dieses Modell ermöglicht eine klare Sicht unter allen Wetterbedingungen, auch bei Nebel und Regen oder bei kompletter Dunkelheit. Das Wärmebildvorsatzgerät ist mit einem besonders kleinen Pixelintervall von 12 μm ausgerüstet, was in einem harmonischeren Bild als bisherige 17µm Detektoren resultiert. Und das Gehäuse ist gegen Wassereindringung nach IP66 geschützt. Es besteht zudem aus besonders widerstandsfähigem Magnesium.
Dieses kompakte Wärmebild Vorsatzgerät eignet sich besonders für die Jagd auf kürzere Distanzen. Das Viper 50 Next ist entspricht weitgehend dem Schwestermodell TIR-M35 AC mit 35mm Linse. Das Viper 50 Next hat jedoch eine große 50mm Linse spendiert bekommen, was die Systemleistung des Gerätes nocheinmal spürbar erhöht. Das Viper 50 ist somit auch auf größeren Distanzen, bis rd. 160m zu empfehlen. Besonders für die Pirsch dürfte das Viper für Jäger interessant sein – mit einem Gewicht von nur rund 295g ist es deutlich leichter als viele andere Geräte (häufig um die 450g).
