This Quick Sleeve from RWS not only has a protective function but is much more a performance enhancer for the sound suppressor. It dissipates the heat generated during successive shots to the sides, thereby preventing the typical heat shimmer above the suppressor. The shooter thus has a clear, unobstructed view of their target.
This positive effect is ensured by the Codura® reinforced top of the Quick Sleeve. Since the neoprene located on the side is comparatively more breathable, the heat is directed to the sides. The neoprene reliably absorbs shocks and also reduces the noise level by about 3 decibels depending on the suppressor. Dieser Quick Sleeve aus dem Hause RWS hat nicht nur eine schützende Funktion, sondern ist viel mehr ein Leistungsverstärker für den Schalldämpfer. Es leitet die enstehende Hitze bei entstehenden Schussfolgen seitlich ab und verhindert damit das typische Hitzeflimmern über dem Schalldämpfer. Der Schütze hat also freie, ungehinderte Sicht auf sein Ziel.
Für diesen positiven Effekt sorgt die Codura® verstärke Oberseite des Quick Sleeves. Da das an der Seite befindliche Neopren im Vergleich atmungsaktiver ist, wird die Hitze zu den Seiten abgeleitet. Das Neopren dämpft zuverlässig Stöße ab und verringert außerdem den Geräuschpegel je nach Schalldämpfer um ca 3 Dezibel. Geeignet ist die Hülle für alle Schalldämpfer mit einem Durchmesser von 50 Millimetern und einer Länge von maximal 224 Millimetern wie z.B. der Hausken
