The large field of view of 15.4 m at 100 m with a range of 2,500 m allows for use with any common all-round or driven hunt scope. The intelligent haptics of the thermal imaging device enable quick activation with the other hand, even when in position. The device is ready for use within 5 seconds after switching on, thanks to the side-mounted on/off and standby switch. Gone are the days when the sounder of wild boars had disappeared before you could even switch it on.
The desire for a familiar view without having to get used to the small rectangular image was implemented by LIEMKE in the LUCHS-2. The circular, full-format image offers a perfect and pleasant view thanks to modern high-resolution OLED technology. The 12 μm VOx detector with 640 x 512 pixels delivers excellent results even in difficult conditions when combined with the germanium lens. Furthermore, the Luchs-2 features two image modes for optimal detail reproduction. The flexible operating concept, as well as the visible and tactile mechanical switches, can be intuitively operated.
The scratch-resistant DLC coating of the lens and the aluminum housing make the Liemke Luchs 2 a robust companion. The housing has shock resistance tested according to standards for premium riflescopes (1,000 shocks with 1,000 g acceleration) and is also scratch and corrosion-resistant thanks to the hard-anodized coating. Harder applications or, for example, striking against the hunting stand are therefore not a problem.

Das Wärmebild-Vorsatzgerät Liemke Luchs-2 überzeugt durch die leistungsfähige Kombination von großem Sehfeld und Reichweite.
Das große Sehfeld von 15,4 m auf 100 m mit einer Reichweite von 2.500 m ermöglicht die Nutzung mit jedem gängigen Allround- oder Drückjagdglas. Die intelligente Haptik des Wärmebildgeräts ermöglicht, auch im Anschlag, ein schnelles Einschalten mit der anderen Hand. Das Gerät ist durch den seitlich angebrachten An-/Aus- sowie Standby-Schalter binnen 5 Sekunden nach dem Einschalten einsatzbereit. Vergessen sind also die Zeiten, in denen die Rotte Sauen noch vor dem Einschalten wieder verschwunden war.
Der Wunsch nach einem gewohnten Durchblick, ohne sich an das kleine rechteckige Bild gewöhnen zu müssen, wurde von LIEMKE beim LUCHS-2 umgesetzt. Das kreisrunde formatfüllende Bild bietet dank moderner hochauflösender OLED-Technik einen perfekten und angenehmen Durchblick. Der 12 μm VOx Detektor mit 640 x 512 Pixeln liefert im Zusammenspiel mit dem Germanium-Objektiv auch bei schwierigen Verhältnissen hervorragende Ergebnisse. Weiterhin verfügt das Luchs-2 über zwei Bildmodi für die optimale Detailwiedergabe. Das flexible Bedienkonzept, sowie die sicht- und fühlbaren mechanischen Schalter lassen sich intuitiv bedienen.
Die kratzfeste DLC-Beschichtung der Linse sowie das Aluminiumgehäuse mache das Liemke Luchs 2 zu einem robusten Gefährten. Das Gehäuse besitzt eine Schockfestigkeit, die nach Standards für Premium-Zielfernrohre getestet wurde (1.000 Schocks mit 1.000 g Beschleunigung) ebenso kratz- aber auch korrisionsfest ist das Aluminiumgehäuse des „Luchses“ dank der harteloxierten Beschichtung. Härtere Einsätze oder bspw. ein Anschlagen an der Kanzel stellen somit kein Problem dar.
