The Walther PP was developed by Fritz Walther, a son of the company founder Carl Walther, and revolutionized pistol technology since 1929 with its constructively high-quality and reliably functioning double-action trigger.
Before, during, and after World War II, the Walther PP was part of the standard equipment for many police and military units. The Walther PP gained enormous fame through a series of 007 films. Her Majesty's agent preferred the pistol for its reliability and compactness.
