The Mark V action is particularly stable and features nine lugs (six lugs for standard calibers). This allows it to withstand extreme gas pressures and is designed for high-performance ammunition. It is ideal for hunting big game such as buffalo, bears, and moose, as well as for long shots on heavy game. The Weatherby Mark V in .378 Weatherby Magnum is one of the most powerful hunting rifles in the world and a choice for experienced hunters pursuing extreme distances or very large game. The firearm was designed by Roy Weatherby. I acquired the firearm from a gunsmith who has since closed his business. This firearm was a display piece. Its proofing took place in January 1993 in Munich.

Sie ist ideal für die Jagd auf Großwild, wie Büffel, Bären und Elche, aber auch für weite Schüsse auf schweres Wild. Die Weatherby Mark V in .378 Weatherby Magnum ist eine der leistungsstärksten Jagdbüchsen weltweit und eine Wahl für erfahrene Jäger, die extreme Distanzen oder sehr großes Wild bejagen. Die Waffe wurde von Roy Weatherby konzipiert. Ich habe die Waffe von einem Büchsenmacher, der sein Geschäft aufgegeben hat. Diese Waffe war ein Ausstellungsstück. Ihren Beschuss erhielt die Waffe im Januar 1993 in München.
