Description

You have the rare opportunity to acquire the M30 "Luftwaffen-Drilling" manufactured by the company "Sauer und Sohn"!

The Drilling M30 was issued to the pilots of the German Africa Corps during World War II to ensure survival in case of being shot down, for example, by hunting game. The Luftwaffen-Drilling was only available in the shotgun-bullet combination 12/65 and 9.3x74R, the receiver is color-hardened, the barrel selector is located on the disc marked "W.St." (Waffenstelle), and the front trigger is equipped with a French set trigger. It is estimated that only around 1,200 pieces were manufactured worldwide by the end of the war.

This drilling with the serial number "338348" has been modified in the past for hunting use (new stock, Schmidt & Bender 1 3/4 - 6x Diflex scope mounted!) - the original stock and case are no longer available. The corresponding symbolism, for example, on the right shotgun barrel, has also been removed. You can find the remaining markings and equipment in the pictures.

Sie haben hier die seltene Gelegenheit, den durch die Fa. "Sauer und Sohn" hergestellten M30 "Luftwaffen-Drilling" zu erwerben!

Der Drilling M30 wurde im 2. Weltkrieg den Piloten des deutschen Afrika-Korps ausgehändigt, um im Notfall nach einem Abschuss das Überleben durch bspw. das Jagen von Wild sichern zu können.
Den Luftwaffen-Drilling gab es nur in der Schrot-Kugel-Kombination 12/65 und 9,3x74R, die Basküle ist buntgehärtet, der Lauf-Wahlschalter sitzt auf der Scheibe mit der Marke "W.St." (Waffenstelle) und der vordere Abzug ist mit einem französischem Stecher ausgestattet.
Es sollen weltweit bis Kriegsende schätzungsweise nur rund 1.200 Stk. gefertigt worden sein.

Dieser Drilling mit der Seriennummer "338348" wurde in der Vergangenheit zur jagdlichen Verwendung angepasst (neuer Schaft, Zielfernrohr Schmidt u. Bender 1 3/4 - 6x Diflex Abs.1 montiert!) - der originale Schaft u. Koffer ist nicht mehr vorhanden. Die entsprechende Symbolik bspw. auf dem rechten Schrotlauf wurde ebenfalls entfernt. Die restliche Stempelung sowie Ausstattung können Sie den Bildern entnehmen.
