Description

In a Red Dot sight, a red dot is projected into the lens. This dot does not leave the optics but is only visible when looking through the scope. A bright aiming point is reflected into the shooter's eye by a semi-transparent mirror. A lens system (collimator) ensures that this reticle appears to the shooter to be at infinity. Thus, the shooter simultaneously sees the target through the semi-transparent mirror and the reticle reflected by the mirror. Since the light beam of the reticle enters the eye exactly from the direction of the sight line, the reticle always appears in the correct position, regardless of the relative position of the eye to the sighting device. Reflex sights do not emit an active, visible light beam! Bei einem Red Dot wird ein roter Punkt in die Linse indiziert. Dieser verlsst die Optik nicht, sondern ist nur zu sehen, wenn man durch das Zielfernrohr schaut. Ein leuchtender Zielpunkt wird ber einen halbdurchlssigen Spiegel in das Auge des Schtzen reflektiert. Eine Linsenoptik (Kollimator) sorgt dafr, dass dieses Absehen dem Schtzen im Unendlichen erscheint. Der Schtze sieht also gleichzeitig durch den halbdurchlssigen Spiegel das Ziel und das ber den Spiegel reflektierte Absehen. Da der Lichtstrahl des Absehens genau aus der Richtung der Visierlinie in das Auge fllt, erscheint das Absehen unabhngig von der relativen Position des Auges zur Visiereinrichtung immer am richtigen Ort.
