They can deliver high currents and have a comparatively very high storage capacity. This makes them perfect for use in tuned weapons, where space for batteries would actually be very limited (e.g. M4 A1, MP5 A5, etc.) What dangers exist LiPo batteries unfortunately also have a downside: With improper use, they can pose a danger to the device and the user. A LiPo battery must never be subjected to mechanical force or direct sunlight. If a LiPo is charged with a conventional charger for NiMH or NiCd batteries, a total loss can be expected. Eine Zelle hat eine Spannung von 3.7 Volt. Welche Kapazitt und welchen Stromfluss eine Zelle bereit stellen kann, hngt vom Modell und Hersteller ab. Da die verschiedenen Zellen ber eine unteschiedliche Kapazitt verfgen, wird an jeder Zelle ein Balancer Kabel angeschlossen (der kleine Stecker). Der Balancer sorgt dafr dass beim Ladevorgang jede Zelle optimal geladen wird. Er balanciert also ungleichmssig geladene Zellen aus und verhindert eine berladung.
