The model of this extraordinarily beautiful Tsuba was certainly crafted by a great master, probably in the 18th century. Since they did not sign their works unlike the blade smiths, the creators are unfortunately not known by name. The Tsuba, as well as the other decorative elements, are elaborately designed with golden cherry blossoms (Sakura), one of the most important symbols of Japanese culture. They stand for pure beauty, new beginnings, and transience.
- Sharply ground damask blade made of 12-fold folded 1045 carbon steel with over 8,000 layers.
- Blade in Shinogi-Zukuri style with a groove (Bo-Hi) featuring an integrated Hamon line.
- Handle wrapping made of light brown cotton in the classic Hineri-Maki style.
- Black, high-gloss lacquered scabbard (Kuroro style) made of wood.
- With a long tang, which is fixed in the handle with 2 bamboo pegs (Mekugi). The sword is thus fully disassemblable.

Das Vorbild dieser auergewhnlich schnen Tsuba wurde sicherlich von einem groen Meister, vermutlich im 18. Jahrhundert gefertigt. Da sie ihre Arbeiten im Gegensatz zu den Klingenschmieden nicht signiert haben, sind die Schpfer leider nicht namentlich bekannt. Die Tsuba, sowie die restlichen Zierrate sind aufwendig gestaltet mit goldenen Kirschblten (Sakura), einem der wichtigsten Symbole der japanischen Kultur. Sie stehen fr reine Schnheit, Aufbruch und Vergnglichkeit. - Scharf ausgeschliffene Damastklinge aus 12- fach gefaltetem 1045 Kohlenstoffstahl mit ber 8.000 Lagen. - Klinge im Shinogi-Zukuri-Stil mit Hohlkehle (Bo-Hi) mit eingearbeiteter Hamonlinie. - Griffwicklung aus hellbrauner Baumwolle im klassischen Hineri-Maki-Stil. - Schwarze, hochglanz lackierte Scheide (Kuroro-Stil) aus Holz. - Mit langer Angel, welche mit 2 Bambusstiften (Mekugi) im Griff fixiert ist.
