For sale is a very decorative, "rustic" flintlock pistol Cal 50 in the style of an English "Tower Pistol." The touch hole is drilled, but there are no proof marks present. The smooth barrel is made of solid steel (magnetic), with a muzzle diameter of 20 mm, a rear diameter of 20 mm, and an inner diameter of 12.85 mm (approximately equivalent to Cal. .50). The wall thickness of the barrel at the muzzle is 3.8 mm. The flintlock is robust and solid. The pistol can be easily cocked into the safety notch and the firing notch and strikes very forcefully from the firing notch. The safety notch works well, preventing any accidental discharge from it. The inside of the barrel looks similar to the outside (material-wise rough and uneven). Despite the drilled touch hole and considerable wall thickness, I consider the pistol in its current condition as not shootable (not to mention the lack of proof marks). All in all, it is a very decorative, antique-looking weapon that looks great on the wall.

Verkaufe eine sehr dekorative, "urige" Steinschlosspistole Cal 50 im Stil einer englischen "Tower Pistole. Das Zündloch ist gebohrt, es sind aber keine Beschusszeichen vorhanden. Der glatte Lauf besteht aus massivem Stahl (magnetisch), Laufaussendurchmesser vorne 20 mm, Laufaussendurchmesser hinten 20 mm, Lauf Innendurchmesser 12,85 mm (entspricht in etwa Cal. .50). Wandstärke des Laufes an der Mündung 3,8 mm. Das Steinschloss ist kräftig und solide. Die Pistole kann problemlos in die Sicherungsrast und in die Feuerrast gespannt werden und schlägt aus der Feuerrast sehr kräftig ab. Die Sicherungsrast funktioniert gut, ein Abschlagen aus dieser ist unterbunden. Die Laufinnenseite sieht ähnlich aus, wie die Außenseite (materialseitig narbig und uneben). Trotz gebohrtem Zündloch und beachtlicher Wandstärke betrachte ich die Pistole im gegenwärtigen Zustand als nicht schussfähig (vom fehlenden Beschusszeichen einmal ganz abgesehen). Alles in allem ein sehr dekorative, antik wirkende Waffe, die sich sehr gut an der Wand macht.
