AMT Long Slide Conversion System Cal. .45 ACP – Stainless Steel
For sale is a rare AMT Long Slide conversion system in caliber .45 ACP for 1911-style pistols.

The Long-Slide systems manufactured by Arcadia Machine & Tool (AMT) are among the most well-known special variants of the classic 1911. With an extended barrel length of 6¾ inches, they offer a longer sight line, smoother shooting behavior, and a distinctive appearance.

The slide bears the original manufacturer markings:

“HARDBALLER AUTOMATIC – AMT LONG SLIDE CALIBER .45”

as well as

“STAINLESS – MADE IN U.S.A.”

Additionally, there is a German CIP proof mark from the proof house in Ulm from the year 1981 (proof code IB) on the barrel and slide, along with the Federal Eagle with nitro proof mark “N”.

Special Features

The AMT Long Slide was specifically developed for sport shooters and precision shooters. The extended barrel and slide result in a longer sight line and a more pleasant shooting behavior compared to standard 1911 systems.

Condition

Very good used condition with only slight signs of use. The stainless steel surface is overall very well preserved. Markings, sights, and proof marks are clear and easily readable.

Die von Arcadia Machine & Tool (AMT) gefertigten Long-Slide-Systeme zählen zu den bekanntesten Sondervarianten der klassischen 1911. Durch die verlängerte Lauflänge von 6¾ Zoll bieten sie eine längere Visierlinie, ein ruhigeres Schussverhalten und eine markante Optik.

Der Verschluss trägt die originalen Herstellerbeschriftungen:

Die AMT Long Slide wurde speziell für Sportschützen und Präzisionsschützen entwickelt. Durch den verlängerten Lauf und Verschluss ergibt sich eine längere Visierlinie und ein angenehmeres Schussverhalten als bei Standard-1911-Systemen.
