Die Grundversion des Enfields wurde 1904 als Dienstgewehr der Britischen Armee eingeführt und diente im ersten und zweiten Weltkrieg. Das Gewehr Lee Enfield No.5 MK1 (Beiname Jungle Carbine) war ein Zugeständnis an die Anforderungen des Dschungelkampfs. Das Magazin ist entsprechend rückgebaut. Der Lauf ist blank, 10 Schuss passen in das rückgebaute Magazin,die Ordonanzwaffe hat ein Flügelkorn und die Spindel Diopter Visierung, die Aufnahme für das Bajonett wurde entmilitarisiert, der Mündungsfeuerdämpfer befindet sich auf dem Lauf. am Schaft ist eine ventilierte / gummierte Schaftkappe.
