The GTS ABR-15 Naked is an AR15 platform in ambidextrous configuration (ABR - Ambidextrous Base Rifle). Manufactured in Germany, it is a Mil-Spec AR15 that is delivered without stock parts and accessories, allowing the shooter to assemble their desired weapon as they wish. Available in three barrel lengths, currently only the 16.75" is available for sport shooters, while the 14.5" & 10.5" are reserved for hunting license holders!
The weapon features a number of characteristics that have been deliberately chosen to provide the shooter with a modular base:

- all commercially available AR15 parts fit, for nearly limitless customization
- Carbine Mil-Spec buffer tube - for nearly all stocks available on the market
- Exception: the ambidextrous bolt catch lever is a proprietary design, this part is not Mil-Spec

- Safety, magazine release lever & bolt catch lever are designed for ambidextrous operation
- Precision barrel (42CrMo4)
- 1:9" twist rate for a wide range of bullet weights
- 19mm barrel diameter behind the gas port and 18mm diameter in front of the gas port, no GI profile
- .750" gas port, standard for AR15
- 1/2"x28 UNEF standard thread at the muzzle
- Reliable bolt & bolt carrier
- Bolt head with dual ejectors, for functional reliability under all conditions (14NiCr18)
- Bolt carrier is QPQ treated, a surface-hardened coating with good glide properties and very high corrosion protection

The German Tactical Systems AR15 comes completely "naked" except for the pistol grip, where a standard A2 grip is mounted, as the grip also serves as the counter bearing for the spring & pin of the safety. However, handguard (free-floating), stock (Carbine, Mil-spec), muzzle (1/2"x28 UNEF) and sights (Picatinny "flat top") as well as the magazine (AR15 standard, STANAG) need to be added. A simple single-stage trigger is installed with moderate trigger behavior and weight, the safety is ambidextrous and can be operated classically at 90°. The markings on the weapon are limited to the legally required, a single logo is discreetly placed above the trigger. There is nothing to prevent custom paint jobs and laser engravings.

Please note:
All conversion systems that use a Mil-Spec weapon as a base can be used, BUT the ambidextrous bolt catch lever is not standard and may cause problems. It must then be replaced with a classic, single-sided model. The Nordic Components and Tippmann Arms KK conversion systems do NOT work with the ambidextrous bolt catch lever.

Hergestellt in Deutschland handelt es sich um eine Mil-Spec AR15 welche ohne Schaftteile und Zubehör ausgeliefert wird, damit der Schütze sich ganz nach Belieben seine Wunschwaffe zusammenstellen kann. Erhältlich in Drei Lauflängen, ist aktuell nur die 16,75" für Sportschützen erwerbbar, die 14,5" & 10,5" sind Jagdscheininhabern vorbehalten!

Die German Tactical Systems AR15 kommt komplett "nakkert" mit Ausnahme des Pistolengriffs, hier ist ein Standard A2-Griff montiert, da der Griff auch das Gegenlager für Feder & Pin der Sicherung ist. Aber Handschutz (freischwingend), Schaft (Carbine, Mil-spec), Mündung (1/"2x28 UNEF) und Visierung (Picatinny "flat top") sowie das Magazin (AR15 Standard, STANAG) müssen nachgerüstet werden. Es ist ein einfacher Single Stage Abzug montiert mit moderate Abzugsverhalten und -gewicht, die Sicherung ist beidseitig und klassisch mit 90° bedienbar. Die Markierungen an der Waffe beschränken sich auf das rechtlich Notwendige, eine Einzelnes Logo ist dezent überm Abzug aufgebracht. Eigenen Lackierungen und Laserungen steht damit nichts im Weg.

Bitte beachten:
Es können alle Wechselsysteme verwendet werden, die eine Mil-Spec Waffe als Basis nutzen ABER der beidseitige Verschlussfanghebel ist nicht Standard und kann Probleme verursachen. Er muss dann gegen ein klassisches, einseitiges Modell getauscht werden.
Die Nordic Components und Tippmann Arms KK-Wechselsysteme funktionieren NICHT mit dem beidseitigen Verschlussfanghebel.
