So, to be direct: This is an AEP – Automatic Electric Pistol, an electrically operated pistol with a blowback, perfect for teenagers aged 14 and up. The catch: full and semi-automatic, easy to use, and almost weather-resistant – you can't get into the game more casually.
Weighing in at only about 730 g, the CM126 fits comfortably in your hand. The body is made of robust polymer, but the slide is made of metal – which adds a bit of extra feel in the hand. The slide is fixed because the battery needs space, but this does not compromise stability.
Under the hood is a revised AEP gearbox with an integrated MOSFET. This means: quick trigger response, clean power supply, and protection against overloads. The whole thing is connected via a Mini-T-Plug connector – modern, safer, and more efficient than the old Mini-Tamiya stuff.
The magazine holds 28 BBs, which you can shoot out in semi or full auto. The inner barrel is compact at about 120 mm, but precise enough, and the adjustable hop-up ensures that the trajectory remains stable. The energy is, of course, below 0.5 Joules, so free from 14 years and legally not a firearm.
