What is special about VFG gun care?

It is a comprehensive range of products for the internal as well as external cleaning and care of firearms. Naturally, special attention is paid to the cleaning of the barrel interior, as this is where the biggest problems are known to exist.

All systems share the commonality that the cleaning, preservation, and degreasing of the barrel is done using wool felt elements. VFG barrel cleaners made from high-quality wool felt are produced – precisely fitting for each caliber in diameter – from natural sheep wool fibers with cellulose wool. This is done exclusively by felting and fulling the individual fibers, without any additional binding agents.

Felt is a pure natural product and contains no chemical substances.
It is shape-stable yet elastic and can be precisely punched in modern processes. This creates a brush-like surface at the punch cut made up of countless fiber ends, which has an optimal cleaning effect under appropriate pressure.
It is very absorbent and can hold coarse and fine dirt particles in its tangled fiber structure, thus removing them from the barrel. The excellent absorbency also allows for the uptake and storage of liquids (e.g., oil, solvents, polishing paste, etc.).
Felt is a textile product and therefore harmless and extremely gentle on firearms.
As a carrier for polishing agents, it helps to polish metal surfaces to a shine.

Sie ist ein umfassendes Artikelsortiment für dieinnere als auch äußere Reinigung und Pflege von Waffen. BesondereAufmerksamkeit wird naturgemäß der Reinigung des Laufinneren gewidmet,weil hier bekanntlich auch die größten Probleme
bestehen.

Alle Systeme haben die Gemeinsamkeit, dass dieReinigung, Konservierung und Entölung des Laufs mit Wollfilzelementenerfolgt. VFG-Laufreiniger aus hochwertigem Wollfilz werden für jedesKaliber im Durchmesser exakt passend aus natürlichen Schafwollfasernmit Zellwolle hergestellt. Dies erfolgt ausschließlich durch Verfilzenund Verwalken der einzelnen Fasern, also ohne irgend ein zusätzlichesBindemittel.

Filz ist ein reines Naturprodukt und enthält keinerlei chemische Substanzen.
Er ist formstabil und doch elastisch und lässt sich in modernen Verfahren präzise stanzen. Dabei entsteht am Stanzschnitt eine bürstenartige Oberfläche aus unzähligen Faserenden, die bei entsprechendem Anpressdruck eine optimale Reinigungswirkung hat.
Er ist sehr saugfähig und kann in seiner Wirrfaserstruktur gröbere und feinste Schmutzpartikel festhalten und so aus dem Lauf entfernen. Die ausgezeichnete Saugfähigkeit ermöglicht auch die Aufnahme und Speicherung von Flüssigkeiten (z.B. Öl, Lösungsmittel, Polierpaste etc.).
Filz ist ein Textilprodukt und deshalb für Waffen unschädlich und äußerst schonend.
Als Träger für Poliermittel hilft er Metalloberflächen blank zu polieren.
