Der komplett in Handarbeit gefertigte Tanto hat eine Klinge aus DNH7-Kohlenstoff-Stahl (nicht rostfrei). Diese wird traditionell mit Lehmbeschichtung gehärtet und verfügt somit über eine echte Hamon-Linie. Die Schneide weist eine Härte von 60 HRC auf, der Klingenrücken ca. 40 HRC.Der Griff ist komplett mit Rochenhaut, sowie japanischer Seide umwickelt.
