Fixed Blade Knife Ermes Black, Operativo, Extrema Ratio ERMES is the commemorative knife designed in collaboration with the Special Operative Helicopter Regiment (R.E.O.S.), which is part of the Italian Army Aviation. R.E.O.S. is the operational unit of helicopters supporting special forces, consisting of specially trained personnel equipped to support military activities in any operational deployment. The stylized guard represents the wings present in the regiment's coat of arms. It is available in two different versions: ERMES ORDINANZA with satin blade and ABS case ERMES OPERATIVO with blued blade. The proven Böhler N690Co steel is used, heat-treated to 58 HRC. For the handle, fiberglass-reinforced polyamide FRN (Fiber Reinforced Nylon) was chosen. The sheath, constructed in a hybrid design of Kydex and fabric, features a belt attachment with MOLLE system.
