The Smith & Wesson Model 629-3 is a variant of the well-known Model 629, a double-action revolver in .44 Remington Magnum caliber. This model was introduced in 1989 and brought several technical improvements to enhance the durability and performance of the revolver. The 629-3 version introduced a hardened cylinder and a reinforced frame to better withstand the stresses of the powerful .44 Magnum caliber. This Smith & Wesson is particularly appreciated by hunters and sport shooters for its robustness and precision. Due to the revisions compared to previous variants, this revolver is especially suitable for the use of high-powered ammunition. This weapon has a 6" barrel as well as a 6-shot cylinder and a long ejector housing, but no fluted cylinder.
