The two-part set with a rotary lock creates a repeatable and shot-proof connection between the weapon and the optics. A groove in the rear base plate allows for the installation of Doctersight mounts, as the stop pin finds its hold there. The upper parts/bases are compatible with most swivel mounts currently available on the market. The mount can also be ideally used on the existing mounting base of a weapon to mount a different scope.
