This sniper rifle was commissioned by the MfS "Stasi" and built by the hunting weapon factory "Ernst Thälmann". The barrel is hammered and the weapon shoots very precisely. A very informative report can be read on the website www.ssg-82.de. The weapon was fired in March 1995 in Münnerstadt.

Dieses Scharfschützengewehr wurde vom MfS „Stasi“ in Auftrag gegeben und vom Jagdwaffenwerk „Ernst Thälmann“ gebaut. Der Lauf ist gehämmert und die Waffe schießt sehr präzise.
