The new shape of the receiver and stock offers a wider
and clearer field of view. Two progressive grooves along the profile are
the most visible innovation in the upper part of the stock in relation to
the receiver. This important feature helps the shooter avoid lifting
their head out of the sight line, a movement that is known to often
lead to a "zero."
The new steel forend guarantees a better feel
when opening thanks to the redesigned geometries and the new latch.
The attachment system of the forend has also been revised
and now consists of a mechanism at the front end that is separated from the steel joint, with a self-regulating
opening slider over time. The 694 is already delivered from the factory with optimal balance,
but thanks to the B-Fast Balancing System, even the
most demanding shooters can make their own adjustments. The barrels
of the 694 can accommodate a separately purchasable weight system of
15, 10, or 5 grams, which can be attached at the muzzle or under the
forend. The stock can also
accommodate additional weights from 20 to 40 grams.
The Steelium Plus barrels from Beretta guarantee the best
hit patterns in terms of consistency and even distribution. The
famous processing of the Steelium barrels with triple-alloyed steel,
deep drilling, cold forging, and vacuum stress-relieving is combined with a
triple transition cone, which reaches a length of
320 mm in the 76mm barrel, effectively dampening both the recoil effect and the muzzle rise.
Die neue Form der Basküle und des Schaftes bietet ein breiteres
und klareres Sichtfeld. Zwei progressive Rillen entlang des Profils sind
die sichtbarste Neuerung im oberen Teil des Schaftes in der Anlage zur
Basküle. Dieser wichtige Kniff hilft dem Schützen zu vermeiden, seinen
Kopf aus der Visierlinie zu heben, eine Bewegung, die bekanntermaßen oft
zu einer "Null" führt.
Der neue Vorderschaft aus Stahl garantiert ein besseres Gefühl
beim Öffnen dank der neu gestalteten Geometrien und des neuen Zapfens.
Das Befestigungssystem des Vorderschafts wurde ebenfalls überarbeitet
und besteht nun aus einem vom Stahl-Gelenk getrennten Mechanismus am
vorderen Ende, mit einem, im Laufe der Zeit selbstregulierend
Öffnungsschieber. Die 694 wird bereits ab Werk mit optimaler Balance
ausgeliefert, aber dank des B-Fast Balancing Systems können auch die
anspruchsvollsten Schützen ihre eigenen Anpassungen vornehmen. Die Läufe
der 694 können nämlich ein separat zu erwerbendes Gewichtssystem von
15, 10 oder 5 Gramm aufnehmen, das an der Rohrmündung oder unter dem
Vorderschaft angebracht werden kann. Der Schaft kann aber auch
zusätzliche Gewichte von 20 bis 40 Gramm aufnehmen.
Die Steelium Plus-Läufe von Beretta garantieren die besten
Trefferbilder in Bezug auf Konsistenz und gleichmäßige Verteilung. Die
berühmte Verarbeitung der Steelium-Läufe mit dreifach legiertem Stahl,
Tiefbohren, Kaltschmieden und Vakuum-Spannungsfreiglühen wird mit einem
dreifachen Übergangskonus kombiniert, der beim 76mm-Lauf eine Länge von
320 mm erreicht, was auch den Rückstoßeffekt und den Mündungsaausschlag
wirksam dämpft.
