Die Hauptidee von CM war es, ein erschwingliches Modell zu liefern, das dennoch eine hohe Qualitt der internen Mechanismen und die Verwendung der bestmglichen verfgbaren Materialien bietet. Dieser 745/840mm lange Nachbau in Karabinerlnge ist aus Fiberglas, Polymer und Metalllegierungen gefertigt und wird aus einem Hicap-Magazin gespeist. Die CM16 wiegt rund 2400g und schiet im halbautomatischen Modus. Der Nachbau besteht hauptschlich aus hochwertigen, mit Glasfasern verstrkten Polymeren, die ihn leicht und dennoch sehr widerstandsfhig machen. Der uere Lauf, das Pufferrohr und andere kleinere Elemente sind aus Metall gefrst. An der Vorderseite befindet sich ein M-LOK-Handschutz aus Polymer mit einer Schiene an der Oberseite.
