Standard Ti-Lite® The standard Ti-Lite® (with 4-inch or 6-inch blade) features a sharp, bead-blasted blade made of S35VN steel and a CNC-machined handle made of 7075 aluminum with KTL protective coating (KTL = cathodic dip coating). CPM S35VN Steel This is an extraordinary American super steel. CPM S35VN is not only extremely tough and durable, but it also sharpens very well to razor sharpness and retains that sharpness for a long time. With its uniform microstructure, this very fine-grained powder steel offers consistent, good properties: durable, reliable, highly corrosion-resistant, tough, and hard even with thinly ground edges. Für maximale Festigkeit und Sicherheit hat Cold Steel® die Ti-Lites® mit Liner-Locks (Seitenfeder-Verriegelung) aus Edelstahl ausgerüstet, die bei hauseigenen Tests ein Gewicht von über 66 kg (145 lbs.) aushalten konnten.
