Thanks to its impressive, wide blade and generously designed grip, it could be wielded both one-handed and two-handed. This made it even possible to cut through chainmail or cleave a man in half with a single blow. This version of this simple yet elegant, yet particularly powerful weapon comes from Cold Steel®. Its hand-forged blade made of 1060 carbon steel is so sharp that it can cut through a phone book with a single strike. The crossguard and the substantial pommel are made of blued steel. The wooden grip scales are riveted to the tang, which is forged all the way to the pommel. For comfort and safety, there is a robust, beautiful wooden sheath covered in black leather.
