The Blaser R93 represents a series of bolt-action rifles specifically designed for hunting. This model was developed by Horst Blaser and manufactured in various caliber variants and in large quantities by Blaser Jagdwaffen until 2016. Since its introduction in 1993 until 2010, Blaser Jagdwaffen GmbH produced more than 100,000 units of the R93. The weapon features a locking system designed as a straight-pull repeater. This system is based on spread claws that lock in the barrel of the weapon. This locking mechanism can be referred to as a partial ring lock, radial lock, or also
