The Blaser K95 Ultimate Leather Break-Action Rifle for Left-Handed Shooters Shows That Ergonomics and Robustness Do Not Have to Come at the Expense of Elegance

Many hunters prefer hunting with a single-shot break-action rifle, such as the K95 Ultimate Leather from Blaser – here in the version for left-handed shooters. Beyond tradition, practical reasons can also play a role: the rifle has a low weight and can be disassembled for transport into its components, for example during mountain hunting.

The Stock
The synthetic hole stock is ergonomically perfect with its slim shape and straight back. The leather inlays on the pistol grip and forend feel very pleasant in the hands. The excellent ergonomic design ensures comfortable mounting, aiming, and shooting in any shooting position. The shooting hand remains completely relaxed, which significantly increases your accuracy. The attachment to the barrel is done via a patented snap closure. Optionally, it can be upgraded with an adjustable butt, an adjustable cap, and a recoil damping system.

The System
The action box of the K95 Ultimate Leather with its matte black finish is made of dural and is very flat thanks to the hookless break block closure. It is adorned with a gold-colored K95 inscription. The closure locks the barrel with a solid block. The recoil is not transmitted to the base of the box in this construction but is absorbed by the spring-mounted closure block. The optimally adjusted trigger is a direct trigger and releases dry at 550 g without any noticeable travel.

Viele Jägerinnen und Jäger bevorzugen die Jagd mit einer einschüssigen Kipplaufbüchse, wie es die K95 Ultimate Leather von Blaser – hier in der Ausführung für Linksschützen – eine ist. Über das Traditionsbewusstsein hinaus können da auch praktische Gründe ein Rolle spielen: das Gewehr hat ein geringes Gewicht und kann, zum Beispiel während der Jagd im Gebirge, in seine Komponenten zerlegt transportiert werden.

Die Schäftung
Der Synthetik-Lochschaft ist mit seiner schlanken Form und seinem geraden Rücken ergonomisch perfekt. Die Leder-Einlagen an Pistolengriff und Vorderschaft liegen haptisch sehr angenehm in den Händen. Die ausgezeichnete ergonomische Gestaltung gewährleistet bei jeder Anschlagart ein komfortables Anlegen, Visieren und Schießen. Die Schießhand bleibt vollkommen entspannt, was Ihre Treffsicherheit deutlich erhöht. Die Befestigung am Lauf erfolgt durch einen Patentschnäpper. Optional kann er mit einem verstellbaren Rücken, einer verstellbaren Kappe und einem Rückstoßdämpfungssystems aufgerüstet werden.

Das System
Der Systemkasten der K95 Ultimate Leather mit seinem mattschwarzen Finish ist aus Dural gefertigt und dank des hakenlosen Kippblockverschlusses sehr flach. Verziert ist er mit einem mit goldfarbenem K95 Schriftzug. Der Verschluss verriegelt den Lauf mit einem massiven Block. Der Rückstoß wird bei dieser Konstruktion nicht auf den Stoßboden des Kastens übertragen, sondern von dem federnd gelagerten Verschlussblock aufgenommen. Der optimal justierte Abzug ist ein Direktabzug und löst trocken bei 550 g ohne spürbaren Weg aus.

Der Lauf
Die Oberseite des brünierten Laufs ohne Visierung ist mit Ausfräsungen für die Blaser-Sattelmontagen versehen, um ohne großen Aufwand eine Zieloptik anzubringen. An der Kipplaufbüchse selbst befinden sich keine Schnittstellen. Die Lauflänge beträgt 52 cm, seine Kontur ist rund. Der Lauf ist in dieser Version für das Kaliber .308Win ausgelegt. Er hat ein M15x1-Mündungsgewinde.
