Super interesting collector's pistol with two locking systems (break-action single shot and semi-automatic function). Manufactured by Beretta in Italy (PB) primarily for the American market. The special break-action system is based on the pistol sold in large numbers as Policeman by the French manufacturer MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE in the 1920s. The small, handy semi-automatic pistol can be shot sportingly and precisely like a single-shot pistol for accurate shots at the target. The barrel is tipped down and a cartridge is loaded directly into the chamber. After cocking the external hammer, one precision shot is fired. With a loaded magazine, the pistol functions like any semi-automatic self-loading pistol. After the first shot, the pistol automatically reloads. The 950 was produced from the early 1950s until its discontinuation in the early 2000s. The earlier models, known as 950B, were manufactured in Italy, later in Brazil. After the GCA of 1968, it was produced domestically in Maryland with an additional manual thumb safety, hence the designation 950BS. It features a simple "blowback action" that has a break-action design, making loading and unloading the chamber safe and quick. The magazine release is a button located in the lower right corner of the left grip, similar to the original Beretta 92. The single-action trigger is crisp and not too heavy, and absolutely creep-free. The frame-mounted thumb safety is positive and cannot be accidentally activated or disengaged. It holds 8 cartridges in the magazine plus one in the chamber for a total of 9 cartridges, making it a very attractive option for concealed carry. Owners (including authorities and intelligence services) of the 950BS can confirm the spectacular reliability, surprising accuracy, and excellent shootability of the weapon. During its production time, the model 950B was also manufactured in a Beretta factory in Brazil, and some of these pistols were imported into the United States. Super interessante Sammlerpistole mit zwei Verschlußsytemen (Kipplauf-Einzellader und Halbautomatik-Funktion). Gefertigt von Beretta in Italien (PB) hauptsächlich für den Amerikanischen Markt. Das besondere Kipplaufsystem beruht auf der bereits in den 1920er Jahren unter anderem als Policeman in großer Stückzahl verkauften Pistole von dem Französischen Hersteller MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE. Die kleine, handliche halbautomatische Pistole kann für den präzisen Schuss auf die Scheibe wie eine Einzelladerpistole sportlich und prezise geschossen werden. Der Lauf wird abgekippt und mit einer Patrone direkt in das Patronenlager geladen. Nach dem Spannen des außenliegenden Hahns wird 1 Präzisionsschuss abgegeben. Mit geladenem Magazin funktioniert die Pistole wie jede halbautomatische Selbstladepistole. Nach dem ersten Schuss lädt die Pistole automatisch nach. Der 950 wurde von den frühen 1950er Jahren bis zu seiner Einstellung in den frühen 2000er Jahren produziert. Die früheren Modelle, bekannt als 950B, wurden in Italien hergestellt, später in Brasilien. Nach dem GCA von 1968 wurde es im Inland in Maryland mit einer zusätzlichen manuellen Daumensicherung hergestellt, daher die Bezeichnung 950BS.
