Rare Type 1 Bakelite grip panels of the early original AK47 (not to be confused with the AKM). A truly venerable appearance and an elevated grip feel. Fits warm and absolutely securely in the hand.

Color is a typical Soviet red-brown. In the dark, more dark brown, in direct sunlight more reddish (see the last two pictures for comparison).

Unfortunately, it cannot simply be mounted on an AKM; an adapter is required for this.

Each has tiny original factory markings "1" and "2" at the bottom.

The offer includes both grip panels together, unfortunately no screw included.

Condition:

Unused arsenal condition. No wear, bruises, cracks, or similar. After decades of storage, there is some surface rust on the steel. However, the thread looks completely fine, and in my opinion, nothing stands in the way of a proper installation.

If you have the necessary tools and skills - I am looking for someone who can build a suitable AKM adapter.

If you feel confident to make such an adapter based on the design of the Soviet-Stocks construction, I would also be willing to sell the grip for €40.

Seltene Type 1 Bakelit Griffschalen der frühen ursprünglichen AK47 (nicht zu verwechseln mit der AKM). Geradezu ehrwürdige Erscheinung und ein erhabenes Griff-Gefühl. Liegt warm und absolut fest in der Hand.

Farbe ist ein typisch sowjetisches Rot-Braun. Im Dunkeln eher Dunkelbraun, in direkter Sonne eher rötlich (siehe letzten beiden Bilder zum Vergleich).

Kann leider nicht einfach an eine AKM Montiert werden, hierzu wird ein Adapter benötigt.

Besitzen jeweils winzig kleine original Werksmarkierungen "1" und "2" am unteren Ende.

Angebot beinhaltet beide Griffschalen zusammen, leider keine Schraube dabei.

Zustand:

Unbenutzter Arsenal-Zustand. Keinerlei Abrieb, Prellungen, Risse oder Ähnliches. Nach Jahrzehnte langer Lagerung flugrostig am Stahl. Das Gewinde sieht aber vollkommen in Ordnung aus, einer korrekten Montage steht meines Erachtens Nichts im Weg.
