Very well suited to bring your rifle technically and stylistically into the 21st century, while still remaining true to the classic look.
The Beryl Dong is actually significantly lighter than a standard wooden Dong and allows for a more versatile and ergonomic grip. Additionally, it enables the attachment of two side rails and a Polish grenade launcher (however, the vertical grip must be removed for this).
Condition:
The Izhmash Upper is as good as new. The Dong is in very good condition with slight mounting and usage marks.
Only drawback:
At the front of the steel mount, one side is slightly bent inward and has minimally detached from the polymer (see photos). However, it is only at that spot and does not threaten the integrity, nor does it affect the functionality.
Notes:
For illustration, it is mounted on a demonstration model of the type Yunker-2.
On the rifle, it came out about 0.7 mm too short at the front, so it may be necessary to substitute any deficits to ensure the handguard fits properly. This tends to vary from rifle to rifle based on experience.
Stylistically complements very well with an AMD-65 grip, and I’m not just saying that because I happen to be sorting out two of those! (:

Sehr gut geeignet um sein Gewehr technisch und stilistisch ins 21. Jahrhundert zu befördern, dabei aber dennoch dem klassischen Look treu zu bleiben.
Der Beryl Dong ist tatsächlich signifikant leichter als ein gängiger Holz Dong und lässt sich vielfältiger und ergonomischer greifen. Zudem ermöglicht er die Anbringung von zwei Seitenschienen und eines polnischen Granatwerfers (hierzu muss man den vertikalen Griff allerdings demontieren).
Zustand:
Der Izhmash Upper ist neuwertig. Der Dong ist in sehr gutem Zustand mit leichten Montage- und Gebrauchsspuren.
Einziger Dämpfer:
Vorne bei der Stahlhalterung ist eine Seite leicht nach innen gebogen und hat es minimal vom Polymer gelöst (siehe Fotos). Es ist aber nur an der Stelle und bedroht weder die Integrität, noch beeinträchtigt es die Gebrauchstüchtigkeit.
Anmerkungen:
Zur Veranschaulichung ist er an einem Vorführmodell der Bauart Yunker-2 montiert.
Gegebenenfalls müsste man damit rechnen für eine perfekte Passform noch Fehlbeträge zu substituieren (wie man es eigentlich kennt von der AK Plattform).
Einen Putzstock konnte ich leider nicht einführen, dieser schien sich an dem leicht überstehenden Gewinde der Griffschraube hängen zu bleiben, welches gut 2mm aus der Mutter herrausragt. Eventuell könnte man das bereinigen in dem man die Griffschraube etwas kürzt, aber gesichert sagen kann ich das nicht.
Harmonisiert tatsächlich überraschen gut mit einem AMD-65 wie ich beim Foto-Schießen festgestellt hab (siehe Hauptfoto).
