The Image Stabilizer
The Swarobalance technology developed by Swarovski combines sensitive sensors with precise electronics and fine mechanics in the image stabilizer. Continuous measurements, over 1,000 per second, adjust the position of the lenses on the fly, ensuring that even at the highest 45x magnification, the image does not vibrate and remains stable. Activated by an intuitive button press, the stabilizer is ready for use in just 2 seconds, without extensive setup. Additionally, you can observe spontaneously without the hassle of setting up a tripod. The stabilizer is powered by a Li-Ion 1860 mAh-RB-S battery, which comes with a suitable charger included in the package; a full charge lasts for up to 12 hours of operation. After 5 minutes of inactivity, the stabilizer automatically goes into standby mode, from which it is reactivated by movement.
The Optics
The 65 mm objective of the AT Balance 18-45x65 ensures the necessary light intake, even in challenging lighting conditions. The transmission value is 88%. The proven Swarovision technology has been employed in the optical system. The images are color-accurate, rich in detail and contrast, and sharp to the very edges. Despite the high magnification, the spotting scope has a remarkable field of view of 55-30 m at 1,000 m. The close focus range starts at just 3.4 m.
The Device
The AT Balance 18-45x65 is a spotting scope with an angled view, which relieves the neck during longer observations. It is designed in Swarovski green. Its housing is made of robust aluminum, effectively protecting the sensitive interior. When the image stabilizer is turned off, the optics automatically take on a locked position to protect them during transport. Nach 5 Minuten Inaktivität geht der Stabilisator automatisch in den Standby-Modus, aus dem er durch Bewegung wieder geweckt wird.
