PIXFRA Taurus T650 LRF – Thermal Imaging Attachment for Medium to Long Distances
The PIXFRA Taurus T650 LRF is the most powerful attachment in the Taurus series. It is aimed at hunters who rely on long distances and expect image sharpness, range, and precise distance measurement in a compact system. In the field, in large clearings, or while sitting, this model showcases its strengths.
The VOx sensor with 640×512 pixels, 12 µm pitch, and a sensitivity of <18 mK NETD delivers a very finely resolved, stable image. In combination with the 50 mm f1.0 lens, the T650 LRF achieves a detection distance of up to 2600 m. Game can be recognized early and accurately identified, even with small temperature differences.
The field of view of 15.4 × 12.3 m at 100 m is intentionally narrower than that of shorter models. This allows details at a distance to be displayed more clearly. The attachment is designed for use on target optics up to 10x, providing a clean combination of range and precision.
The Sub-Pixel-Zeroing technology ensures a stable point of impact with a click value of 0.9 cm at 100 m. The M52×0.75 thread is compatible with common adapters. The shock resistance of up to 6000 Joules underscores its claim as a fully hunting-capable attachment.
The integrated laser rangefinder measures precisely up to 1000 m and remains invisible to game. Especially at greater distances, it provides reliable distance information and sensibly complements the high optical range.
The display is provided by an OLED screen with 1920×1080 pixels. The device is operated quietly via the 3-button layout and the ergonomic focus dial or via Bluetooth remote control with a magnetic holder. The PIPS 2.0 firmware ensures clean edges, reduced image jitter, and improved zoom. The AAIC image calibration stabilizes the image automatically.
Six color palettes and hotspot tracking support the quick detection of heat sources. The magnesium alloy housing is dust and waterproof according to IP67 and operates reliably from -30 °C to +55 °C.
A replaceable 18650 battery provides up to 6 hours of runtime. For recordings, 32 GB of internal storage is available. Additionally, the T650 LRF allows for a stable WLAN live stream to a smartphone or tablet.

Das PIXFRA Taurus T650 LRF ist das leistungsstärkste Vorsatzgerät der Taurus-Serie. Es richtet sich an Jäger, die auf weite Distanzen angewiesen sind und dabei Bildschärfe, Reichweite und exakte Distanzmessung in einem kompakten System erwarten. Im Feld, an großen Schneisen oder auf dem Ansitz spielt dieses Modell seine Stärken aus.
Der VOx-Sensor mit 640×512 Pixeln, 12 µm Pitch und einer Empfindlichkeit von <18 mK NETD liefert ein sehr fein aufgelöstes, ruhiges Bild. In Verbindung mit dem 50 mm f1.0 Objektiv erreicht das T650 LRF eine Entdeckungsdistanz bis 2600 m. Wild lässt sich früh erkennen und sicher ansprechen, auch bei geringen Temperaturunterschieden.
Das Sehfeld von 15,4 × 12,3 m auf 100 m ist bewusst enger gewählt als bei kürzeren Modellen. Dadurch werden Details auf Distanz klarer dargestellt. Das Vorsatzgerät ist für den Einsatz auf Zieloptiken bis 10x ausgelegt und bietet damit eine saubere Kombination aus Reichweite und Präzision.
Für eine stabile Treffpunktlage sorgt die Sub-Pixel-Zeroing-Technologie mit einem Klickwert von 0,9 cm auf 100 m. Das M52×0,75 Gewinde ist mit gängigen Adaptern kompatibel. Die Stoßfestigkeit bis 6000 Joule unterstreicht den Anspruch als voll jagdtaugliches Vorsatzgerät.
Der integrierte Laser-Entfernungsmesser misst präzise bis 1000 m und bleibt für Wild unsichtbar. Gerade auf größere Entfernungen liefert er eine belastbare Distanzinformation und ergänzt die hohe optische Reichweite sinnvoll.
