Swarovski has revised its Z8i riflescopes, particularly optimizing user comfort. The buttons have been enlarged and the grooves of the zoom ring better contoured. The operation is intuitive and can also be easily managed while wearing gloves. Additionally, a so-called "Throw Lever," a lever for more precise zoom adjustment, is included in the package.
The Z8i – 1.7-13.3x42 P L without rail is equipped with a 4A-I or a 4A-IF reticle. The "F" stands for "Flexchange," meaning it can be used at the push of a button as a normal 4A-I reticle with a dot or with a Circle Dot. The circle around the dot facilitates quicker target acquisition during driven hunts.
The target optics offer a large field of view of 25.2-3.1 m at 100 m and a high transmission value of 93%. The image reproduction is clear, and thanks to its special coating, the outer lenses are water-repellent and fog-free. Due to the precise processing of high-quality components, the optics function reliably even in extreme heat, cold, and rain. The slim central tube with a diameter of 30 mm makes it suitable for almost any rifle.

Swarovski hat seine Z8i-Zielfernrohre überarbeitet und vor allem den Bedienkomfort optimiert. Die Tasten wurden vergrößert und die Rillen des Zoom-Rings besser konturiert. Die Bedienung ist intuitiv und auch mit Handschuhen gut zu bewerkstelligen. Zusätzlich ist ein sogenannter „Throw Lever“, ein Hebel für eine genauere Zoomeinstellung, im Lieferumfang enthalten.
Das Z8i – 1,7-13,3x42 P L ohne Schiene ist mit einem 4A-I- oder mit einem 4A-IF-Absehen ausgerüstet. Das „F“ steht für „Flexchange“, d. h. es kann per Knopfdruck als normales 4A-I-Absehen mit Leuchtpunkt oder mit Circle Dot verwendet werden. Der Kreis um den Leuchtpunkt erleichtert bei der Drückjagd eine schnellere Zielerfassung.
Die Zieloptik bietet ein großes Sehfeld von 25,2-3,1 m auf 100 m und einen hohen Transmissionswert von 93 %. Die Bildwiedergabe ist klar, dank ihrer speziellen Beschichtung sind die äußeren Linsen wasserabweisend und beschlagfrei. Durch die präzise Verarbeitung hochwertiger Bauteile funktioniert die Optik auch bei extremer Hitze und bei Kälte und Regen zuverlässig. Das schlanke Mittelrohr mit einem Durchmesser von 30 mm macht es für nahezu jedes Gewehr geeignet.
