Digiscoping or phonescoping – documenting your hunting experiences or wildlife observations as photos or videos via smartphone – is becoming increasingly popular. The principle is quite simple: using the VPA 2 Variable Phone Adapter, the smartphone is mounted to the binoculars or spotting scope from Swarovski. This way, you can edit your hunts and share them with your hunting friends.
One for all
Whereas different adapters were previously necessary depending on the smartphone, Swarovski now offers the VPA 2 Variable Phone Adapter, which provides an interface that allows you to quickly connect your smartphone – whether iOS or Android – to all Swarovski binoculars and spotting scopes with the respective clamp adapter. The VPA 2 adapter weighs 104 g and is therefore lightweight.
Easy handling
The VPA 2 adapter is easy to attach and has excellent stability. The adjustment is made precisely to the position of the phone camera, and then the VPA 2 is fixed to the binoculars or spotting scope with the corresponding clamp adapter – CA-Bs, CA-B, or CA-S (not included). The Swarovski VPA 2 Variable Phone Adapter comes with a carrying strap.
