The Ergonomics
The extended Beaver Tail allows the APX A1 Compact to sit comfortably in the hand. The grip panels are interchangeable depending on the size of your hand. The front of the trigger guard has grooves to place the index finger of the support hand if needed. The serrations on the slide are grippy, so fingers do not slip during loading, even in wet conditions. The controls are ambidextrous, allowing the APX A1 Compact to be used by both right- and left-handed shooters.
The Handling
Thanks to its short reset times, quick follow-up shots are possible with the APX A1 Compact. The light, consistent trigger weight is distributed over a short trigger pull. The pistol is well-balanced and has an intuitive aiming direction with its good grip angle. The curvature at the front of the grip base reduces the muzzle rise when firing.
