It combines excellent optics with top functionality overall. The objective modules can be changed in no time to adapt to any type of hunting. With outstanding detail recognition at a close focus of 4.8 m, a high zoom range, and a wide field of view, you won't miss anything in the crucial moment. Swarovski sets new standards in terms of performance and user-friendliness here regarding the simple and intuitive operation. The operation of the zoom and focus ring can be done quickly and with one hand. The included objective module is also equipped with a protective bayonet cover that can be easily removed with a left turn before use. The rotating eyecup is suitable for individual adjustment, even for glasses wearers (see notes). The adjustment ring is responsible for image sharpness and is turned to the right for focusing on distant objects and to the left for close objects. For eye-friendly use, the focusing wheel of the telescope can be used for continuous sharpening. The magnification is also adjusted using the zoom adjustment ring. Furthermore, the STX 30-70x115 has a retractable sunshade that protects the user from disturbing side light and the objective from precipitation.
Note
To connect the objective and eyepiece module, both devices must only be attached at the respective markings. Turn the eyepiece module to the right until the lock clicks into place.

After outdoor use, the telescope should always be dried first.
For cleaning, it is recommended to use a clean microfiber cloth. Coarser dirt should be removed beforehand with an optics brush.
The telescope should be stored in a consistently dark and well-ventilated place. If stored in a humid room, an airtight container with moisture-absorbing material is advisable. In general, it should also be protected from impacts at all times.

Die Bedienung des Zoom- und Fokussierrings ist schnell und einhändig möglich. Das mitgelieferte
Objektivmodul ist zudem mit einem schützenden Bajonettschutzdeckel ausgestattet, der vor Gebrauch einfach mit einer Linksdrehung abgenommen werden kann. Die Drehaugenmuschel eignet sich durch die mögliche individuelle Anpassung auch für Brillenträger (siehe Hinweise). Der Stellring ist für die Bildschärfe zuständig und wird für die Fokussierung von weit entfernten Objekten nach rechts und bei nahen Objekten nach links gedreht. Für eine augenschonende Verwendung lässt sich das Fokussierrad des Teleskops zum laufenden Scharfstellen verwenden. Auch die Vergrößerung wird mithilfe des Zoom-Stellrings eingestellt. Des Weiteren besitzt das STX 30-70x115 eine ausziehbare Sonnenblende, die den Nutzer vor störendem Seitenlicht sowie das Objektiv vor Niederschlag schützt.
Hinweis
Für die Verbindung von Objektiv- und Okularmodul, müssen beide Geräte nur an den jeweiligen Markierungen angebracht werden. Das Okularmodul so lange nach rechts drehen, bis die Verriegelung einrastet.

Nach der Outdoor-Nutzung sollte das Teleskop stets erst einmal getrocknet werden.
Für die Reinigung empfiehlt sich die Nutzung eines sauberen Mikrofasertuchs. Gröbere Verschmutzungen sollten vorab mit einem Optikpinsel entfernt werden.
Das Teleskop sollte an einem stets dunklen und gut belüfteten Ort aufbewahrt werden. Bei Aufbewahrung in einem luftfeuchten Raum bietet sich ein luftdichter Behälter mit Feuchtigkeits-Absorptionsmittel an. Grundsätzlich gilt, dass es auch jederzeit vor Stößen geschützt sein sollte.
