The original STABILOTHERM Jägerpfanne XL (Swedish pan) with an extra large diameter of 28 cm - with a foldable wooden handle. These "wilderness" pans have a slightly thicker material than many other pans (about 3mm wall thickness) and are not rustproof. These fire pans are all made in Sweden from carbon steel/cast iron and can withstand very high temperatures - making them ideal for cooking over an open fire. Before the first use, you need to heat the pan strongly and burn it out with fat - you repeat this procedure several times and also use plenty of fat during the first real food preparation. Die original STABILOTHERM Jägerpfanne XL (Schwedenpfanne) mit extra großem Durchmesser von 28 cm - mit klappbarem Griff aus Holz. Diese "Wildnis"-Pfannen haben ein etwas dickeres Material als viele andere Pfannen (ca. 3mm Wandung) und sind nicht rostfrei. Diese Feuerpfannen werden alle in Schweden hergestellt aus Kohlenstoffstahl/Gusseisen und halten wirklich sehr hohe Temperaturen aus - eignen sich somit ideal für das Kochen über dem offenen Feuer. Vor dem ersten Gebrauch musst Du die Pfanne stark erhitzen und mit Fett ausbrennen - diese Prozedur wiederholst Du einige male und nimm auch reichlich Fett bei ersten echten Essenszubereitung. Diese Pfannen werden erst durch längeren Gebrauch richtig gut - es muss sich die Patina aus eingebranntem Fett bilden.
