The original STABILOTHERM Jägerpfanne XL (Swedish pan) with an extra large diameter of 28 cm - with a foldable wooden handle. These "wilderness" pans have a slightly thicker material than many other pans (about 3mm wall thickness) and are not rustproof. These fire pans are all made in Sweden from carbon steel/cast iron and can withstand very high temperatures - making them ideal for cooking over an open fire. Before the first use, you need to heat the pan strongly and burn it out with fat - you repeat this procedure several times and also use plenty of fat during the first real food preparation.
