Seller does not respond

It’s annoying to wait for a reply and get no feedback. These steps will help you move forward.

Wait long enough

Dealers and private sellers can be busy – it may take a while before they see your message. Wait at least 24–48 hours before taking further steps. Especially during holidays, vacation times, and public holidays, responses usually take longer.

Write again via the chat

If you don’t get a reply after a reasonable time, send another message – maybe the first one got lost. The seller will be notified again by email. Don’t bypass the platform: Don’t give the seller your email address or phone number, because outside the chat you lose traceability and security.

Check if the seller is verified

Look on the profile to see if the seller is verified – indicated by the small shield icon next to the name. If a seller is not yet verified, a security rule applies: They can see your message and will be notified, but will only respond after completing the identity verification. This protects all users from fraud. More about identity verification.

Contact other dealers
