I am selling my well-preserved used revolver S&W Smith & Wesson 629-4 .44 Magnum 6.5" with Docter Optics red dot due to inventory reduction.

According to the importer AKAH, it was shot in Germany in 1995 and thus belongs to the most popular manufacturing period of the mid-90s.

Timing and cylinder play are still perfect. Barrel is bright, lands and grooves are sharp. No rust anywhere, not even under the grip.

Why the model 629-4 is so sought after (created with AI):

The fourth generation combines the best of both worlds: it has all the modern mechanical reinforcements for hard .44 Magnum loads, while at the same time avoiding the unpopular cost-cutting measures and safety features of later years.

The "Endurance Package": Older generations (like the base model or some -1 and -2) tended to have the cylinder unintentionally unlock under the extreme recoil during prolonged use of hard cast and factory loads. The model 629-4 features fully developed, hardened, and enlarged internal locks and pins. It is extremely robust and can handle strong loads without complaint.

Ich verkaufe meinen gut erhaltenen gebrauchten Revolver S&W Smith & Wesson 629-4 .44 Magnum 6,5" mit Docter Optics Rotpunkt wegen Bestandsreduzierung.

Er wurde nach Auskunft des Importeurs AKAH 1995 in D beschossen und gehört somit zur beliebtesten Fertigungszeit Mitte der 90er.

Timing und Trommelspiel noch perfekt. Lauf blank, Felder und Züge scharf. Nirgends Rost, auch nicht unterm Griff.

Klassischer Schlagbolzen: Der Schlagbolzen sitzt bei der Reihe -4 noch traditionell auf dem Hahn (Hammer) und nicht im Rahmen, was das traditionelle S&W-Gefühl beim Spannen ausmacht.
Abzug und Hahn/Schlagbolzen sind kaltgehämmert und nicht aus MIM wie bei späteren Fertigungen.

Er schießt sehr präzise, sowohl mit Scheibenladungen als auch mit jagdlichen Maximalladungen.

Mit dem Underlug unter dem 6,5 Zoll Lauf liegt er stabil im Schuss. Ein 4" schlägt bei Jagdladungen deutlich höher.

Es ist ein Rotpunkt montiert, der sich in jagdlichen Situationen mit schlechtem Tageslicht in der Dickung bestens bewährt hat.

Kimme ist dafür abmontiert und fehlt.

Der Revolver hat die üblichen Gebrauchsspuren wie leichte Kratzer in der Edelstahloberfläche.

Technisch absolut in Ordnung. Verschießt Full Power Ladungen klaglos.

Der Druckknopf zum Auswerfen der Trommel ist "locker". Das ist bei allen S&W Modellen wohl üblich. Ein Jagdfreund hat es bei seinem mit locktite befestigt, muss aber zum Zerlegen dann wieder entfernt werden. Deshalb habe ich es original gelassen. Die Schraube fällt nicht raus!
