Il sistema fu brevettato da Heinrich Ortgies, che vendette il sistema poi alla Deutsche Werke, le cui iniziali sono applicate sulle guancette in legno. Brunitura completa e originale, meccanica e canna ottime, vero e non comune pezzo da collezione. Il marchio “Germany” era apposto per l’esportazione, Cal. 7,65 mm. Arma Comune.
