La FN Model 1903 (M1903, FN Mle 1903) o Browning No.2 era una pistola semiautomatica progettata da John Browning e realizzata dal produttore di armi belga Fabrique Nationale (FN). È stata introdotta nel 1903 ed è dotata di cartuccia del tipo 9×20 mm SR Browning Long. Le prime 10.000 pistole furono prodotte dalla Fabrique National d’Armes de Guerre di Herstal, in Belgio, e acquistate dall’agente svedese Paul Berghaus AB di Göteborg. Fu rinominato M/07 (il 16 dicembre 1907). Tutte le pistole consegnate furono controllate dalla fabbrica di armi Carl Gustafs Stads di Eskilstuna. Successivamente questo modello fu prodotto su licenza F.N. e Browning dalla Husqvarna Vapenfabriks Aktibolag. L’arma che presentiamo è in condizioni splendide, matricola 1628 (molto bassa dato che il lotto era numerato da 1 a 10.000), presenta una brunitura, blu intensa, originale e completa. Fusto, canna (non fotografata) e carrello presentano tutti la stessa matricola. Anche il caricatore è monomatricola, rendendo il pezzo ancora più raro. Meccanica, canna e azione sono ottime. Sulla parte posteriore del carrello, sotto la Corona Svedese, sono presenti i punzoni degli ispettori per le armi leggere dell’esercito svedese: HC (Hyltén-Cavallius) e CJ (Carl Edward Johansson). Questo è un Vero pezzo da collezione, in condizioni splendide e un Storia molto interessante. Arma Comune.
